Chris Sayre
Chris has held a variety of responsibilities at Allied. Currently, his primary role is Director of Sales and Engineering. He provides direction to all three divisions, utilizing his technical and sales expertise. His experience, however, began in 2001 when he started as a technician. Over the years he worked his way through a variety of positions, including fleet manager, rental division manager, safety supervisor, and operations manager. His management / leadership opportunities came after hurricane Katrina when he played a critical role in Allied’s rebuilding of the Moss Point, MS wastewater system through his supervision of day-to-day operations.
Chris graduated from Miami University (OH) with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology and Environmental Science. He has completed a variety of pump and fluid hydraulics courses, as well as numerous safety and training classes including OSHA 10, 30, Hazwoper, confined space, fall protection and Red Cross train-the- trainer courses.
Of special importance to Chris was the awarding of the Certificate of Appreciation for Patriotic Civilian Service from the Department of the Army to his team while on a jobsite. This was specifically for their actions while rescuing a father and son from the tailwaters of an Army Corps Hydroelectric Dam in freezing water. Involvement in non-profit organizations includes:
- OWEA/WEFTEC regional/national judge and volunteer.
- Movember. Three year team Captain and participant with all proceeds supporting Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundations
- Dan Beard Council (Boy Scouts of America) Sporting Clay Shoot. Chris, along with Allied, has been a sponsor and participant for several years. Chris also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout within the Boy Scout organization.
- Water for People Sport Shoot. Chris and Allied are sponsors and participants.
Chris is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, rock climbing, hiking, canoeing and kayaking.
