Allied Safety Policy
“Safety is our #1 priority in everything we do!” Doug Sayre, CEO
Safety is the most important part of every day. Our CEO has stated and will continue to communicate that any employee can and will shut down a job at any time for a safety concern. Whether we are providing pump rentals, technical or underwater services, we encourage and empower our employees to focus on safety and provide them with the essential tools and equipment to do this.
Allied has a health and safety program that is accessible to all employees at any time. We utilize a computer-based program coupled with instructor-led and hands-on training to round out our safety training and compliance program. We also work with many corporate safety programs and councils, which allow us access to work at various industrial, chemical and power plants. Allied submits to random drug and alcohol testing for any client sites that require this. In addition, we subscribe to a third party program that does 15% random testing and performs additional random testing within the separate pool of CDL drivers.
Our training programs include: OSHA 10, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR/AED, BBP, Drug free workplace, Defensive Driving as well as site specific training for other clients.
Allied divers have their own specific training and work guidelines. All work is performed under strict adherence to guidelines as established by OSHA 1910, AWWA, United States Coast Guard and the Association of Diving Contractors International regulations. The divers’ training includes DAN/Oxygen training and more in depth and customized first aid training.
